Rims - DT Swiss XR 391 - A super light XC race rim with a 25 mm internal diameter Wider doesn't just improve grip and comfort; it's faster, during extensive off season testing with Nino Schurter and Florian Vogel it was proven that matching wider XC race rubber to an optimum width rim was vital to reducing rolling resistance. The highest profile result of this research project was the World Cup winning XRC 1200's. but with the XR 391 DT is bringing wide XC race rims to a whole new price point. The rim bed is tubeless optimized to provide fast tire installation, a great tire fit and quick trouble-free tubeless setup, of course you also have the option to run standard inner tubes. Whilst as wide as DH rims from a few years back, it should be noted that these are still very much race orientated items with a maximum suggested system weight of 110 KG, heavier riders or those looking for more durability are advised to look at our XM designated trail rims. We will shortly be relocating from our temporary operating base in Falmouth to Aberdeenshire. This is the final piece of the jigsaw in our move from Spain back to the UK.
During this time there will be a short period when our wheel building operation is suspended. We will however still be taking orders and talking to customers both via telephone and email.
If you are looking to place an order in the very near future then we would advise you to do so ASAP as we will be suspending our workshop operation from Friday 1st September, with a planned resumption date of Monday 9th October. Any orders taken after 1st September will be placed in our build queue and fulfilled on a ‘first come, first served’ basis once we are up and running again.
